Ready Carroll Registration is Open
Westminster, MD, Monday, August 24, 2026 – Registration is open for the Fall session of Ready Carroll sponsored by the Department of Emergency Management and Communications and partner agencies. Ready Carroll is a free 8-hour program providing Carroll County residents with basic skills needed to prepare for and respond to everyday emergencies as well as community-wide disasters. There will be multiple interactive demonstrations including a fire extinguisher simulator and 9-1-1 simulator.
Classes will take place in person at the Carroll County Public Safety Training Center, 50 Kate Wagner Rd., Westminster through four consecutive weekly sessions beginning September 9th through September 30th. Each session begins at 6:00 p.m., and there is no cost to participate.

- September 15th- Crime prevention and safety
- September 23rd- Fire prevention and safety
- September 30th- Community Resources
